Hygiene

HACCP

HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point) is an internationally-approved procedure for systematically creating a safe hygiene control system. HACCP is used worldwide in food processing companies, healthcare facilities and other settings where reliable hygiene systems and proof of successful hygiene procedures are required.

HACCP was developed by NASA in the 1960s to ensure high food quality and reliable hygiene standards for foodstuffs used in the US space program.

If you are in food or drug industries or wish more information on HCCP and demanding hygiene standards for humidification, please contact us.

For non-food and non-drug industries, ML’s HACCP certification gives assurance that all ML products are produced in a secure and hygienically controlled way so the system will not be the cause of health risks.

Water quality standards

At this time, there are few government regulations on water quality in water used for humidification purposes. Regulations applicable to drinking water are usually not applicable, since water is evaporated into the air, rather than being consumed.

Our standard industrial systems are designed and built to ensure delivery of water which meets the demanding drinking water standards specified by EPA.

Consumer Safety

ML and Husson Inc. will provide a humidification system which is safe to operate. We will also provide the end user with a detailed System Manual containing instructions on installation, safe operation, maintenance and trouble-shooting the system.

However, to ensure safe operations, it is the responsibility of the end user to carefully follow all instructions outlined in the System Manual.
